MBMC Dhamma School has organized a special activity called Dhamma Hunt for students to learn dhamma in an interactive and full of fun way. This event was leaded by Teacher Malini.
Objectives of the Treasure Hunt
- To learn Dhamma in an interactive way.
- To work as a TEAM all students from all levels, teachers and parents.
- To assess the Sunday School students knowledge of the Dhamma.
- To practice loving kindness by being gentle, humble, respectful and
- obedient during the interaction with the members of Sangha, kitchen
- helpers and devotees.To have FUN learning Dhamma.
Basically we divided students into 3 groups: Metta, Karuna and Mudita. Each group has about 9-1o students. They were required to answer and complete first question before can proceed to the next question. At the end, the group who has achieved highest score in answering 5 questions in total, will be the winner.
First question requested student to have a direct interaction with our new Sayadaw U Pannananda. Students was required to go to 1st floor to pay respect to Sayadaw and gather the required information.

Second question requested student to find the location that keep the treasure of Dhamma, then interview Brother Keat Hoe (Librarian) and present the appreciaton card to him.
Third question is about Buddha, we requested student to find the "Shout of Victory" at the tree where Buddha attained enlightenment.

The fouth question required student to act 2 precepts silently to another groups for guessing. If the other party successfully answered the acting, both group will be given 5 points or else will be deducted 5 points.

The last question was about Triple Gems. Students were required to find 3 different symbols to represent Triple Gems. They found Buddha poster, Buddha image to represent Buddha; Dhamma books to represent Dhamma; robes and alms bowl to represent Sangha.
Finally Mudita group was the winner of the event. Teacher Thum was invited to give the presents to the winning group.
